“DJ” Duane Millers

DJ moved to the big island when he was 6 months old. His father Duane Shelly came to apprentice with his brother, Marcus Castaing. He was brought up in a wood shop, surrounded by wood, creative energy and a lot saw dust!

He started to make a living doing fine woodworking with his father. When working with his father they shipped furniture all over the world. He has spent 15 years being part of the process of turning boards into fine furniture. Although DJ has always been around the creative spirit, he also brings an innate sense of detail and design to his current work.

He currently shares a shop with his uncle Marcus Castaing on the southern tip of the big island in the sweet little town of Waiohinu.
